- Square
- Color
- White background with a black bicycle inside a red circle and slash
What to do
If you are riding a bicycle, do not enter; use the alternate route or walk the bike where it is allowed. If you drive a car, watch for cyclists who may be forced onto the nearest road. Give them space when you pass.
Where you see it
At the entrance to freeways, expressway ramps, tunnels and some bridges or paths where bike traffic is not safe or permitted.
Test trap
Don't confuse it with the green and white 'Bicycle Route' sign or the yellow 'Bicycles' warning sign, which tell you cyclists are welcome or may be present. The red slash is a ban.
Memory tip: Red slash on a bike = no cycling here.
